Tampa, FLORIDA – August 1, 2018 – Bee Atomic, a Tampa-based creative and digital marketing agency targeting the independent restaurant industry, has bought mobile app development company BuzzBurrito as part of a strategy to boost its marketing operations and expand its reach beyond Florida.
Designed to be a one-stop shop for busy restaurant owners, Bee Atomic helps small businesses compete in a tough market by providing an affordable full-service package of customer loyalty marketing services, including email marketing, SMS marketing and app development.
Announcing the acquisition, Bee Atomic's owner Atom Wigley said, "Our dedication to customer service, coupled with an honest approach to business, has allowed us to build a loyal client base in the Tampa market. The increased revenue stream this acquisition provides will allow us to grow into other verticals and other areas of the U.S."
With the acquisition of BuzzBurrito, Bee Atomic intends to expand its core operations beyond its current base of independent restaurant clients.
BuzzBurrito, a mobile marketing company based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has a five-year track record of building mobile apps for a variety of clients, including health care providers, entertainment venues, churches, and non-profits.
BuzzBurrito was founded by a team of young entrepreneurs who began the company while they were still students at Grove City College. Like Bee Atomic, BuzzBurrito's solutions are geared towards small businesses. Its apps allow customers to place orders and process payments via their mobile devices, and receive push notifications and loyalty rewards.
